Best B2B UI/UX Design Agencies (2026)

yellow sticky notes on white wall

The short answer

Teague, Isadora Agency and Method head this list. Teague brings field research and operator interface design to industrial and defense products, as in the control software for a startup's off-road autonomous vehicles. Isadora pairs UX research and information architecture with conversion-focused web design for mid-market and enterprise B2B companies. Method combines experience design with digital strategy and engineering, including an innovation lab for an IT services company.

B2B buyers seldom act on a first visit. They compare suppliers, forward pages to colleagues and come back to download specifications or contact sales, and the people who later use the product may never see the marketing site at all. B2B UX work therefore covers two jobs: making a website or sales tool easier to act on, and making software or devices easier for business users to operate. Every agency on the list publishes named business-customer work on its own site.

The order weighs research with real business users, depth in conversion paths and logged-in tools, information architecture for large catalogs and content libraries, and how a B2B company would engage each team.

Methodology

We built this list from the agencies' own websites. To qualify, an agency needed a named client whose buyers or users are other companies, and we checked the audience of each example instead of trusting an industry tag. We then compared research with business users, such as field visits, interviews and usability tests; conversion work on inquiry, signup and sales paths; product depth in logged-in tools, apps and design systems; and fit, meaning team structure and how engagements run. We read each published result against the case study it came from. Where an agency doesn't publish team size or a minimum budget, that field stays empty.

Design and research for industrial, mobility and aerospace products since 1926

Teague was founded in 1926 and is independent and 100% employee-owned. Its services cover product design and development, prototyping, user research and human factors, AI strategy and product design, and strategic foresight, mostly for industrial, mobility, aerospace and defense clients. For Overland AI, a startup building off-road autonomy for defense, Teague designed and built the front end tactical operators use to run its vehicles remotely. Work began with a design definition sprint of two weeks and a market analysis covering military, professional and commercial interfaces; Teague's developers then coded it alongside Overland AI's back-end team so the API supported each feature. The software supports vehicle mapping, robot telemetry and tasking, live video and multi-vehicle management, through patterns borrowed from consumer navigation tools. With CDM Smith and the Kansas Department of Transportation, its researchers ran field interviews across the state for a road usage charge pilot.

B2B UX research, information architecture and conversion-focused website design

Isadora Agency designs B2B websites, sales tools and portals, with user research feeding the information architecture. For Palm Bay International, an importer of fine wines and spirits, it rebuilt the website and the sales team's toolkit. Sales reps and retailers can filter the portfolio by type, price and geography, save custom collections, and generate shelf talkers and technical sheets from a shared asset library. An iPad and Android app keeps that material available offline during pitches, and producer microsites give each winery and distillery its own space. NCCER, a construction education nonprofit, runs a site that serves both companies and individual learners; pages for courses and accreditation were so hard to find that the organization was fielding over 200 support calls daily. Isadora rebuilt the information architecture after a content audit, adding a mega menu and smart search. Its research methods include user interviews, card sorting, analytics audits, journey mapping and moderated usability tests.

Experience design, strategy and engineering within the Hitachi group

Method, founded in 1999, belongs to GlobalLogic and through it to the Hitachi family, and has 350+ employees across five locations. For EVRY, an IT services provider, Method delivered experience design and digital strategy through an innovation lab set up to generate new ideas and build design capability inside the company. Work for business audiences also includes Cegid Flow, a mobile app that brings payments, invoices and accounting together for French small-business owners and links to their accountants' systems, and a marketing site for CAPTRUST, rebuilt on WordPress. Research shows up across Method's other cases: the Hemmings auctions platform started from stakeholder interviews, and a touchless ordering kiosk was tested inside a working restaurant. Services run from AI and digital strategy through experience design and engineering to organizational enablement.

Experience design for industrial software and employee experiences, owned by Wipro

Designit has been part of Wipro since 2015. The experience innovation company dates from 1991, and its studios run from Copenhagen and Oslo to New York, Seattle and Bengaluru. For Sandvik, the industrial engineering group, it designed Prism, a touch-based CAM application for iPad that handles CNC programming, simulation and export. The team interviewed Sandvik's machining experts about the daily work of each role in the machine shop, then prototyped and tested in iterative sprints and launched an MVP with Sandvik's engineers in under six months. For EPI, the European Payments Initiative, whose success depended on winning partner banks, it built a visual identity that presents the company as a movement linking payment players across Europe, with a detailed guideline for print and digital use.

Creative technology, CGI and AI content

WONGDOODY lists offices from London, Stuttgart and Berlin to New York, Los Angeles and Seattle, along with nearshore and offshore studios in Belgrade, Taipei and India. Positioning and content make up most of the B2B work. For a German multinational's mobility business, it led a rebrand and a global positioning campaign, with a LinkedIn campaign aimed at experts, a web hub for the business and out-of-home and booth work around the IAA Mobility 2023 trade fair. For Kärcher, it built a hybrid production workflow that combines a digital twin of the product, CGI and generative AI to create application images before physical prototypes exist. It redesigned online tax filing for the Indian Tax Department, starting from more than 50 in-person interviews with accountants, tax officers and taxpayers. Its Product Experience practice also sells employee experience work across HR, IT and services, and lists an AI-powered Nexus Design System among the practice's delivery tools.

Product and interface design for AI and developer tools

About 160 people work at MetaLab, which Andrew Wilkinson founded in 2006 and which belongs to the Canadian holding company Tiny. Most of the B2B cases are software for teams and developers. Bardeen, an AI-based automation startup, came to the studio early on to conceive and design the company's first product, with brand and web app among the deliverables. For PlayerZero, a tool that helps engineering teams catch bugs early, it created the brand and product design, and it worked with the founding team at Modular on brand and product design for an AI developer platform. Windsurf, the AI code assistant, received a full rebrand and website. MetaLab has also partnered with in-house teams on brand, UX and UI and engineering for an unnamed product that brings AI services to enterprises.

Brand identity and UI for software and audio technology companies

Hello Monday works across branding, digital products and experiences. Aurora Solar, whose platform covers solar projects from lead to installation, is the B2B software client. The brief there was strategic: move the brand beyond functional claims about accuracy toward a position as the company setting the industry standard. The studio then built the visual identity, its brandmark joining a sun and a roof with a pattern for connectivity, with UI, animation and copywriting among the deliverables. EPOS sells audio equipment to business professionals as well as gamers, and Hello Monday built its brand from the ground up along with a design system shared by the brand and the online store. Zipline's website redesign took the studio two and a half months.

Brand, product and AI experience design across 14 hubs

Huge, a design and technology company, started in Brooklyn in 1999 and has been owned by AEA Investors, a private equity firm, since late 2024. Candescent, which sells digital banking software to community banks, credit unions and other financial institutions, asked Huge to define its Intelligent Banking idea and design what it looks like. Huge tested the positioning blind against the category's biggest competitors and turned it into four pillars and a playbook the sales team now uses. The experience vision adapts to what a person is doing, detected through live signals, and comes with a full prototype and a design system built to scale across Candescent's institutions. Huge also rebuilt candescent.com as a guided sales engine. A website for Darling Ingredients is among its other B2B work.

Covers

Brand positioning, websites, product and experience design, design systems, AI experiences

Ideal client

Companies selling software to other businesses that need positioning, a sales website and an experience vision

Notable clients

Candescent, Darling Ingredients, UNC Health

Not the right fit when: The project is a single conversion fix; Huge's B2B case spans positioning, website and platform vision.

B2B conversion happens over several visits

On a B2B site, success means the buyer takes the next step: a sample request, a spec sheet, a quote form, a distributor login or a call with sales. Each of those steps can be measured, and each can fail on small details, such as a form that asks too much too early or a site search that hides the product a buyer came for. The case studies worth reading name the step that improved and the audience it served, whether purchasing managers, distributors or the client's own sales team.

Business users are best studied where they work

People use B2B tools on a factory floor, in a delivery van or between meetings, often on shared or rugged devices. A lab test can't reproduce much of that. Contextual inquiry, where researchers watch people do the job and ask questions as they go, surfaces workarounds that never come up in a conference room. For a B2B website, the equivalent is talking to recent buyers and to the client's sales team, who hear the questions prospects ask before they commit.

What a B2B UX engagement includes and costs

A B2B UX engagement usually begins with stakeholder and customer interviews, an analytics review and a content audit, since many B2B sites carry years of product pages, documents and resources. Next come the information architecture, navigation and search, then wireframes that buyers or users try out, and finally visual design with a reusable component library. Larger scopes add sales tools, gated resource libraries, a mobile app for field teams or the interface of the product itself. Budgets are public for one firm on this list: Isadora Agency's bands for website and product design open at $95K to $165K, with the highest starting at $401K. The other seven don't publish budgets and price each project. A fair comparison checks whether testing with users is included or optional, and who supports developers once design ends.

Frequently asked questions

How much does B2B UX design cost?

B2B UX projects commonly start around $95,000 to $165,000, and the largest scopes go past $400,000. Most agencies price each engagement. Costs rise with the number of audiences, the size of the product catalog or content library, and whether sales tools, portals or a mobile app are in scope alongside the website.

What is a realistic timeline for a B2B UX project?

The schedule depends on how much research and content work comes before visual design: interviews with buyers, users and the sales team, a content audit and the information architecture. A plan that dates each phase, including testing rounds and developer handoff, is easier to hold an agency to. Designit's Sandvik project shows the fast end for a new tool, moving from expert interviews and iterative prototypes to a launched MVP in under six months.

How does UX design improve B2B website conversion?

It's about removing friction between a buyer's question and the next step. Clear navigation and search help visitors find the right product or document, forms ask only for what sales needs, and quote requests, sample orders and gated resources sit where buyers look for them. On NCCER's site, Isadora Agency rebuilt navigation and search after hidden course and accreditation pages had pushed daily customer service calls past 200.

What is contextual inquiry, and when does a B2B project need it?

Contextual inquiry means watching people do their real work and asking questions as they go. It suits B2B products used in the field or on a shop floor, where a usability lab doesn't reflect the working conditions. Teague's ethnographic research for CDM Smith and the Kansas Department of Transportation gathered residents' views on road funding before a road usage charge pilot was designed. For a B2B website, interviews with recent buyers and the client's sales team play a similar role.

What makes a B2B UX case study credible?

It names the client and the users or buyers, and it shows where research changed the design. Designit's Sandvik case describes its interviews with the client's machining experts and the iterative sprints that followed, and Teague's Overland AI case describes a design definition sprint and a review of military, professional and commercial interfaces that came before development. Results carry the most weight when they are tied to a specific change, such as a form, a search tool or a sales asset, and to the period measured.

Do B2B products need different UX research from consumer products?

Often, yes. A B2B purchase can involve several people, from the person using the tool to the one approving the budget, and each needs different information. Users may work under time pressure, with specialized equipment or long task lists. Research therefore has to cover buyers, users and internal teams such as sales and support. Isadora Agency's site for Palm Bay International, for example, serves sales reps, distributors and consumers, with tools built specifically for the sales team.
