Best Enterprise UI/UX Design Agencies (2026)

people sitting on chair

The short answer

Isadora Agency, EY Studio+ and EPAM lead this list. Isadora builds multi-brand design systems and research-led redesigns that keep corporate products consistent and usable across brands and teams. EY Studio+ joins experience design to EY's consulting and technology practices and runs research and workshops at company scale. EPAM pairs experience design with engineering at scale, including merging more than 280 websites into one global site for a single client.

Enterprise UX work rarely starts from a blank page. A corporate product team usually inherits several brands, older component libraries, internal tools and audiences with different jobs to do, and the agency has to make those pieces behave like one product. Some firms below arrive as a focused design partner. Others bring a consultancy or an engineering organization of thousands with them. All eight show named work for large organizations on their own websites.

The ranking weighs research with real users and staff, design systems that hold up across brands and teams, accessibility and documentation that outlast the launch, and how a large organization would actually engage each team.

Methodology

We read each agency's own website: case studies, service pages, about pages and client lists. An agency qualified only if it showed named work for a large organization there, such as a multi-brand company, a statewide public program or a global employer, and a strip of logos didn't count. We then looked for research with users or employees that changed a design decision, and for design systems or design languages that a client team could govern after handoff. We checked for accessibility work and for documentation engineers could build from. Finally we considered fit, meaning how each firm is staffed and sold, from a boutique team to a unit inside a global consultancy. Where a firm publishes prices, headcount or a founding date, we included it. Where it doesn't, we left that field blank.

Enterprise UI/UX design, multi-brand design systems and accessible product redesigns

Isadora Agency is a UX, product design and web development agency founded in 2009 that works with mid-market and enterprise clients. For Autotrader, whose brands include Kelley Blue Book and Dealer.com, Isadora built a multi-brand design system to replace a restrictive Material UI base with headless components. The team defined the token architecture in Figma variables, documented components in Storybook and tested them against WCAG 2.1 accessibility criteria, then handed off a production-ready system of 29 components, 1,503 variables and 58 documented guidelines. For California HVIP, a state-funded truck and bus voucher program administered by CALSTART, Isadora ran stakeholder workshops, gave dealers and purchasers separate journeys through a rebuilt information architecture, and redesigned the vehicle catalog and vendor directory. The new site meets AA accessibility guidelines and was a 2022 Webby nominee. Isadora's research practice combines user interviews, analytics audits, card sorting and moderated sessions with real users at the wireframe and high-fidelity stages.

Design languages and interfaces for industrial and aerospace companies

Teague has been an independent design company since 1926 and is 100% employee-owned. It works with companies in aviation, mobility, defense, robotics and technology. At an industrial company's safety and productivity division, the product portfolio had grown inconsistent through acquisitions. Teague began with contextual inquiry, including ride-alongs to see how delivery drivers used barcode scanners, turned the findings into user stories and worked through design sprints from sketches to high-fidelity comps alongside the client's designers and design council. The result was a design language for new hardware and software, built on modified Android components, with documented rules for iconography, color, language options and governance of the system. Teague's user research on road usage charges, for CDM Smith and several state transportation departments, started with strategy workshops for agency stakeholders.

Experience design for operational tools, workplaces and services

Designit is an experience innovation company founded in 1991 and owned by Wipro since 2015, with studios in cities including Copenhagen, Madrid, Munich, Oslo and Seattle. Much of its enterprise work concerns tools used inside large operations. When a global shipping company moved its logistics ecosystem to the cloud, Designit mapped the full set of workflows and restructured tasks into a modular design system, testing it across six applications and validating it with user groups in several countries. At a real estate firm's Amsterdam headquarters, it worked with the company's smart-building specialists to design new experiences for a workplace app for tenants and landlords, and tested digital prototypes on site. Its work index also lists projects for JFK Terminal 4 and Los Angeles World Airports.

Long-running design partnerships that build in-house design capability

IDEO is a global design and innovation company founded in 1991 that works through human-centered design. A partnership with an automaker has run for more than a decade across the US, Europe and China. The two ran proof-of-concept projects to spread new ways of working, then set up an internal human-centered design hub with teams in six locations, including Detroit, London and Shanghai. The automaker's vice president of global EV programs credits that cross-functional approach for features on one of its electric vehicles. IDEO's design services run from strategy and research to physical and digital products and new brands, and its other client work includes digital products for Umpqua Bank after its merger with Sterling Financial and a digital ecosystem for FEMSA's OXXO stores.

Multi-brand UX depends on how the design system is governed

Most large organizations run several products at once: a main site, a few acquired brands, internal tools and an app, each built by a different team at a different time. The design system is what keeps those surfaces consistent after the agency leaves, so it's worth reviewing as closely as the screens. The practical questions concern ownership of the tokens, how a newly acquired brand gets themed, where usage guidelines live and who approves changes. Written answers to those questions in a proposal show the agency has planned for life after launch.

Research inside a large company starts with its own people

Enterprise UX research serves two groups. One is the customers or employees who use the product. The other is the internal stakeholders who decide what ships, and their priorities often conflict. Workshops early in discovery bring those conflicts out before design starts, and contextual research shows where the friction actually sits. Teague's design-language project for an industrial safety and productivity division, for example, began with ride-alongs to watch delivery drivers use barcode scanners. Testing with real users at wireframe stage, and again before handoff, keeps changes inexpensive while engineers haven't started building yet.

What an enterprise UX engagement includes and costs

An enterprise UX engagement usually opens with discovery: stakeholder workshops, an analytics audit, interviews with users and staff, and a review of the existing component library. Information architecture and journey maps come next, then wireframes tested with users, visual design and a design system with documentation that in-house engineers and future vendors can maintain. Large programs add accessibility remediation, regional rollouts or internal tools. Isadora Agency is the only firm here with public pricing, and its website and product design projects range from a $95K to $165K band at the low end to $401K and above at the top. The other seven price each engagement separately, and several sell design inside larger consulting or engineering contracts. Comparable quotes list research, design, system documentation and build support as separate lines.

Frequently asked questions

How much does enterprise UX design cost?

Few enterprise UX agencies publish prices. Projects usually open around $95,000 to $165,000, and the largest scopes run past $400,000. Consultancy units and engineering firms often fold design into a wider contract. Cost rises with the number of brands, products and regions in scope, and with how much design system documentation and accessibility testing is included.

How long does an enterprise UX engagement take?

Enterprise engagements are measured in months, and multi-brand programs often become multi-year partnerships. EPAM's work with LV= General Insurance began with a 16-week engagement with the board and senior team, and the redesigned LV.com was delivered within nine months. Teague's design-language project for an industrial products division moved through repeated design sprints before the rules were formalized. Long timelines are easier to govern with a phased plan that dates discovery, design system foundations, pilot screens and the rollout to each brand.

Who are the stakeholders in a corporate digital product redesign?

Usually more people than the product team expects: product and engineering leads, brand and marketing, accessibility and legal owners, customer support, regional teams and the executives who fund the work. Each sees a different part of the product, so their priorities tend to differ at the start. Workshops early in discovery bring those differences into the open. EY Studio+ took this to company scale for SkiStar, holding sessions with senior leadership, the top 70 leaders and every full-time employee.

When is a UX audit worth doing before an enterprise redesign?

When an organization has several sites or products that grew separately and nobody is sure which problems they share. A UX audit reviews analytics, accessibility, navigation and the existing component library, and it gives the redesign a baseline to measure against. It's most useful before a design system is planned, because it shows which patterns already repeat across brands. Isadora Agency's UX research service includes an analytics audit that feeds its information architecture and navigation work.

How do you measure the user experience of an enterprise product?

Through measures tied to the product's main tasks: task completion and time on task in usability sessions, drop-off points in analytics, support ticket volume and satisfaction scores from customers and staff. Internal tools need measures of their own, such as how quickly a new employee learns the system. Without a baseline taken before the redesign starts, the later numbers don't mean much, and the same measures are worth repeating after each brand or region moves onto the new design.

What should an enterprise design system include?

Tokens for color, type and spacing that can be themed per brand, a component library in both design files and code, usage guidelines, accessibility notes and a process for approving changes. The multi-brand system Isadora Agency built for Autotrader connects Figma variables to Storybook, so designers and engineers reference the same components. Teague's design language for an industrial products division documented rules down to iconography, language options and governance. When the system ships only as a design file, engineers have to rebuild each component by hand.
